The Grahams announce limited tour only Pretenders/Mazzy Star covers 7" single

Nashville based Americana duo The Grahams will return to the UK in February/March for an almost month long run of dates. The dates will include two shows at the C2C / Country 2 Country festival at the O2 in London on March 9th-10th. To coincide the duo will release a strictly limited 7" single, only available during the tour, which features their versions of tracks by The Pretenders and Mazzy Star (both tracks are great but the Mazzy Star is especially good). The tracks will feature on the upcoming soundtrack to their feature length Love & Distortion documentary due later this year. The famed Bluebird Cafe returns to C2C in 2018 + After Show Party News

The famed Bluebird Cafe will return to the C2C event at the O2 in 2018. The Nashville institution has experienced an increase in visibility and popularity in recent years as an integral part of the Nashville TV show so expect tickets to be in high demand. Nashville is all about the songwriter so these seated songwriters round shows really get to the roots of the music. The O2 / C2C have also released details of the official Aftershow Parties for 2018 with Walker Hayes, Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real, Brett Young with Morgan Evans set to please the late night music lovers (Glasgow will also have aftershow parties for our friends north of the border). Mary Gauthier, Seamus Fogarty & The Blasters latest names added to Kilkenny Roots 2018

The Kilkenny Roots Festival is celebrating 21 years in 2018 and the latest additions to the line-up include Mary Gauthier, who has an excellent new album 'Rifles & Rosary Beads' due in January, Irish songwriter Seamus Fogarty and, from the USA, The Blasters. With RGM fave Whitney Rose already announced alongside a host of impressive names that include Deep Dark Woods, Michael Nau and Nikki Lane this looks like an excellent weekend of great music. C2C announces new additions and day splits for 2018

The Country to Country festival today (October 16th) announced additional acts and day splits so you'll know who's playing when on the weekend of March 9 - 11th, 2018 at The O2 in London. The additional names include Old Dominion, Morgan Evans and Ashley Campbell who will present a tribute to her late father Glen Campbell, a true country legend. Maverick Festival 2017 Final Line-Up and Stage Times

The Maverick Festival today announced their final additions to the line-up with Nashville duo American Young and Alabama songwriter Sonia Leigh added to an already impressive artist list. Leigh has songwriting credits on that guilty pleasure that is the Nashville TV series while American Young performed recently at C2C in London. The Maverick Festival runs from June 30th - July 2nd and with so many excellent acts in just three days some inventive clock watching, or a flux capacitor, might be required to catch that not-to-be-missed set. Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers set for BluesFest at O2 London

The annual BluesFest at the O2 in London has announced the first names for the 2017 event set for Friday 27th - Sunday 29th October 2017. Steely Dan will be performing in the UK for the first time since 2009 (It will be their only UK show in 2017) and will close the festival on Sunday night. The duo will be joined by legendary hitmakers The Doobie Brothers. More acts will be announced soon and tickets are on general sale from Friday May 12th.

Maverick Festival 2017 full line-up announced

The Maverick Festival recently announced their full line-up for 2017 with a press launch in London.  The event was held at the Gibson Brands Studio in central London, with craft beers and duck wraps a plenty, to get those attending in the mood for long summer days in the Suffolk countryside. The music for the evening was courtesy of Dean Owens, Brigitte DeMeyer and Will Kimbrough. Dean has been working with Will on his upcoming album and judging by the tunes performed on the night it’ll be another good one. Maverick Festival 2017 - First Names Announced
