I’ll Take You There: Discovering the Sound of Alabama will premiere globally on YouTube at 3:00 p.m. CDT / 4:00 p.m. EDT / 8:00 p.m. GMT on March 12th. This new documentary explores the history and influence of the music of Alabama (home to FAME and Muscle Shoals) and the state’s critical role in the civil rights movement. Interestingly, the documentary is a transatlantic affair, featuring UK artists Lady Nade, Lauren Housley, and Michele Stodart on a pilgrimage to the state that influenced their own musical journeys.
