Universal Music Catalogue is delighted to announce the January 2016 release of Deep Purple ‘The Vinyl Collection’. This 7-LP collection features the groups’ albums spanning the period 1972-1987, re-mastered from the original tapes (including the first official re-masters of titles, Perfect Strangers and The House Of The Blue Light) pressed on 180gm vinyl, they come complete with original inserts within replica sleeves and are housed together in a sturdy, deluxe box. Each album will also be made available as a stand-alone title.

A Cautionary Tale from Dylan LeBlanc

Israel Nash new single 'LA Lately' due October 2nd.

Israel Nash and his band are excited to release the first single, “LA Lately,” on 2nd October. The track is taken off their new album Israel Nash’s Silver Season, due out on October 9th on Loose/Thirty Tigers. The track is the second offering from the upcoming album after the recent release of ‘Strangers’ both tracks are superb and have really wetted the appetite for the album. ‘Red Room’ is the latest single / video release from acclaimed singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist Jon Hart on the Candyrat Records label and features a guest appearance from long-time collaborator and producer, percussive guitarist Chris Woods. The track is taken from his debut album ‘Reborn’ which received widespread acclaim earlier this year and earned him performances at the Isle of Wight Festival and the Acoustic Festival of Britain. Hart will be touring to promote the album this autumn and on October 4th he will support Preston Reed at the 2015 Ullapool Guitar Festival.

Didn’t He Ramble, the second solo outing from acclaimed singer songwriter Glen Hansard, will be released September 18 via Anti- Records. The new album is his first in over three years and follows 2012’s solo debut Rhythm & Repose. Produced by Thomas Bartlett (The National, Sufjan Stevens) and former Frames band-mate David Odlum (Paloma Faith, Tinariwen). The album, which was recorded in New York, Dublin, Chicago and France, is Hansard’s most intimate and elegant record since his work in Once and features guest appearances by John Sheahan (Dubliners), Sam Beam (Iron and Wine) and Sam Amidon.

Buford Pope - We Got Time Tomorrow single

Buford Pope, (a.k.a. Mikael Liljeborg) was born in 1971 on Gotland, a Swedish limestone island in the Baltic Sea. With a small population and isolated from the Swedish mainland the young Mikael discovered music, primarily Bob Dylan and then on to other greats of the singer songwriter genre such as Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Browne.
