With the holiday season just around the corner Red Guitar Music is proud to present a melancholic take on this time of year from an alternative viewpoint courtesy of Dan Michaelson ‘Another Messy Christmas’.

As the nights draw in and the snow begins to settle, spare a thought for Mrs Christmas this festive season. Whilst Santa enjoys celebrity status and waltzing off on his annual world tour, Mrs Christmas hits the Sherry and gets a few things off her chest.  'Another Messy Christmas' by Dan Michaelson is released as a free download this week and tells the story from the side of Santa's ever tolerant wife, who has spent at least the last 250 Christmases keeping herself warm.

Dan Michaelson and the Coastguards released album 'Distance' to widespread critical acclaim earlier this year. They play a show in London at The Lexington on 3rd February 2015.
