June 18, 2018 by David Vousden in Acoustic, Alternative Rock, Americana, Bluegrass, Blues, Classic Rock, Country, News, Tour Dates

BluesFest 2018 at London's O2 was already looking like a pretty special few days and now looks even better. Counting Crows are to headline the Sunday night of the festival and they will be joined by Alison Krauss who will also play a full set with The White Buffalo in support. I think you'd have to agree that this is a very impressive line-up for the closing night of BluesFest 2018. Previous coverage of BluesFest can be found here. More about the artists and the festival follows including ticket details:

Counting Crows are to headline The O2 Arena as part of this autumn’s BluesFest. Returning to London for the first time since two sold-out shows in 2014, the multi-million-selling folk-rockers are confirmed to close the festival on Sunday October 28th for a much-anticipated show that will also feature a full set from award-winning US vocalist Alison Krauss. Krauss has enjoyed an illustrious 30-year career that has seen her win 27 Grammy Awards, sell over 12 million albums and collaborate with the likes of Robert Plant, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift, Kenny Rogers, Emmylou Harris and James Taylor.

Support for Counting Crows and Alison Krauss comes from revered Americana singer-songwriter Jake Smith AKA The White Buffalo.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Counting Crows back to the UK for what will be their only show here of the year and to have the incredible Alison Krauss join them on the same bill is an honour for us.

BluesFest is proud to present a broad range of artists from the worlds of blues, soul, rock, country & roots - with Counting Crows, Alison Krauss and The White Buffalo joining the likes of John Fogerty, Robert Plant, Steve Miller, Van Morrison, Robert Cray, Beth Hart, Raphael Saadiq and Zac Brown all on the bill, 2018’s festival line-up is looking very exciting.”
