Joy Mills Band announce new EP 'Coming Up' due March 9th

Seattle based country roots act The Joy Mills Band will release their new EP 'Coming Up' on March 9th. This is the fourth release by the band and they'll be supporting it with shows throughout 2017 including a visit to Europe planned for September.  The title track highlights the impressive harmonies of Joy and bassist Tom Parker while Lucien LaMotte adds layers of sprightly guitar twang which all sounds good to me. Maverick Festival 2017 - First Names Announced

The first names have been announced for the 10th Anniversary of the Maverick Festival with Sam Baker and Police Dog Hogan just two of the many acts set to join in the celebrations. Cambridge Folk Festival expands city-wide with City Roots February 2017

In February of 2017 the Cambridge Folk Festival will expand throughout the city with a new initiative that will see 'City Roots' bring folk and roots artists to a range of venues in the city. As is usual with Cambridge Folk Festival the artists listed to appear are an ecletic bunch that includes Salif Keita and Transatlantic Sessions featuring Aly Bain and Jerry Douglas and a host of impressive players.
