Josh Turner and Kip Moore to headline The Long Road Festival 2019

The Long Road festival in Stanford Hall, Leicestershire launched in 2018 and will return to the venue in 2019 on September 6th - 8th for three days of the very best in country, Americana and roots music. The first wave of acts for 2019 include headliners Josh Turner (making his UK debut) and Kip Moore. The Steel Woods, John Paul White, Asleep At The Wheel. Rhiannon Giddens, Eric Paslay, Charley Crockett, Morgan Evans, LANCO and Lainey Wilson are among the impressive names confirmed for the festival. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday March 15th. Rodney Crowell announces 'Close Ties' on 7th April via New West Records

Cambridge Folk Festival expands city-wide with City Roots February 2017

In February of 2017 the Cambridge Folk Festival will expand throughout the city with a new initiative that will see 'City Roots' bring folk and roots artists to a range of venues in the city. As is usual with Cambridge Folk Festival the artists listed to appear are an ecletic bunch that includes Salif Keita and Transatlantic Sessions featuring Aly Bain and Jerry Douglas and a host of impressive players. John Paul White to release new solo album August 19th 2016

John Paul White will release his first solo album in nearly a decade August 19th 2016. The album entitled 'Beulah' will be released on the Single Lock label which he founded and runs with Ben Tanner and Will Trapp. Single Lock has been a trademark of quality in recent times with a string of releases that include the excellent Dylan LeBlanc 'Cautionary Tale' album. A Cautionary Tale from Dylan LeBlanc

Dylan LeBlanc will release his third album entitled 'Cautionary Tale' January 15th on Single Lock Records. The album features Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes) and is produced by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes) and John Paul White (Civil Wars} who both also feature on the record. The title track from the album, which features a terrific hook, is out now via the usual digital platforms and bodes well for the full record to follow.
