UK rockers Vega were one of the hardest working bands on the UK scene pre-pandemic and the guys are hitting the road again in late 2021. The recent release of their seventh album ‘Anarchy and Unity’ found the band unsurprisingly receiving great reviews from the likes of Classic Rock, Powerplay and Fireworks. The refreshed Vega line-up is returning to touring with dates up and down the country kicking off at London’s Underworld on October 9th. More about Vega, the tour and ‘Anarchy and Unity’ follows:

Promoted with three singles that have all been playlisted by leading rock radio station Planet Rock, the band are now hitting the road for the first time since the pandemic curtailed touring plans for their previous record (2020’s ‘Grit Your Teeth’).

The new album has seen guitarist Billy Taylor (ex-Inglorious) and drummer Pete Newdeck (Nitrate, Midnite City) join singer Nick Workman, guitarist Marcus Thurston and brothers James Martin (keyboards) and Tom Martin (bass) in a more muscular sounding sextet that has nevertheless retained a keen sense of melody.

Immaculately performed and self-produced with panache, ‘Anarchy And Unity’ shows off a determined and mature unit ready to take the next step in their career. With pent-up energy, a rejuvenated line-up and this superb new album to promote on what is their first tour in almost two years, Vega are truly firing on all cylinders.
