Guitar duo Opal Ocean will visit the UK for the first time in March 2026. The tour coincides with the release of their latest record, ‘Temple Of The Stars’. Since their electrifying debut with the ‘Terra’ EP in 2015, Melbourne-based duo Opal Ocean, comprised of Alex Champ and Nadav Tabak, have taken the world by storm with their unique blend of instrumental music, combining high-octane Spanish guitar techniques and dynamic performances that make them sound like a full band.

A video of the pair busking their track ‘J.A.M.’ on the streets of Melcourne went viral, garnering a staggering 50 million views across different social media platforms, launching them into the spotlight as one of the most exciting acts in modern instrumental music and their unmatched chemistry has led them to headline major events like the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2021, while also being invited to design their own ‘Opalburst’ and ‘Oceanburst’ guitars with Godin Guitars of Canada.

With intricate, psychedelic-tinged acoustic soundscapes, Opal Ocean released their debut album ‘Lost Fables’ in 2016, captivating audiences worldwide as they toured Canada, New Zealand, and Europe. Their follow-up album, ‘The Hadal Zone’ (2020), saw them collaborate with Dream Theater’s Jordan Rudess, further solidifying their reputation for pushing the boundaries of acoustic guitar music.

In 2022, they released the ‘Fish Food’ EP, reimagining tracks from legends like Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd, and System of a Down. They followed this up with a European tour, playing at hotspots like Spain, France, and Malta, headlining the Earth Garden Festival. The momentum only grew in 2023, when they dropped their live album and lit up stages across Australia and Europe, with a standout performance at Festival Bout du Monde in France. 2024 saw Opal Ocean conquer their first-ever European winter club tour in Germany to sold-out crowds, followed by a triumphant return to Canada’s Festival Guitare du Monde

This Spring, Opal Ocean will be bringing their thrilling live performances to UK stages for the first time- combining raw energy, technical mastery, and rich sonic layers as they deliver shows that leave audiences in awe, often making it hard to believe it’s just two musicians on stage. The UK tour, which visits Brighton, Cardiff, Leamington Spa, London, Southampton, Cheltenham, Preston and Newcastle, comes alongside the release of Opal Ocean’s new album, ‘Temple of the Stars’.

Katherine Priddy will release her third album, ‘These Frightening Machines’, on March 6th via Cooking Vinyl. In support of the album, Katherine will be putting in the road miles with an extensive series of In-store performances commencing on Saturday, January 31st, in Leamington Spa at Head Records. Tyketto are back with a new single, ‘We Rise’, from their upcoming ‘Closer To The Sun’ album due March 20th via Silver Lining Music. It’s hard to believe that the seminal ‘Don’t Come Easy’ was released way back in 1991, but singer Danny Vaughn still sounds as impressive as ever and ‘We Rise’ scratches that itch for those looking for anthemic melodic rock in 2026. The band will commence touring on February 1st with a run of headline shows and festival appearances throughout spring/summer. The duo share impressive rock credentials: Adrian Smith is best known as a member of UK Metal legends Iron Maiden, but has often released music outside the band, including the short-lived ‘ASAP’ album way back in 1989, while Richie Kotzen has enjoyed a successful solo career while still finding time for stints in Poison, Mr Big and The Winery Dogs.
