Shawn Colvin & Steve Earle to release 'Colvin & Earle' June 10th

Fantasy Records is proud to announce the release of COLVIN & EARLE, the self-titled, debut album from acclaimed GRAMMY® Award-winning artists Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle. COLVIN & EARLE arrives everywhere on June 10th, 2016. The album was produced by Buddy Miller and features a mix of original material and four cover songs. Santana IV due April 15th reunites classic 1973 band members.

The rumoured reunion of the classic 1973 version of Santana is about to come to fruition with the release of Santana IV and a tour to follow. The 2016 band features Carlos Santana, Gregg Rolie, Neal Schon, Michael Schrieve and Michael Carabello and continues the sound of their first three albums, which many fans still consider to be their classic period. Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie would leave Santana in 1973 and go on to form Journey which Schon leads to this day. The full press release follows…

An introduction to Ben Abraham

Australian singer-songwriter Ben Abraham recently released a video for 'You And Me' a track taken from his debut album 'Sirens' due June 17th on the Secretly Canadian label. Abraham recorded and produced Sirens in Melbourne with the help of friends and longtime collaborators Jono Steer and Leigh Fisher. The album also features a collaboration with Sara Bareilles, who Abraham connected online and struck up a friendship with several years ago, on “This Is On Me” as well as additional production from Gotye’s Wally De Backer on “Speak."

Israel Nash new single 'LA Lately' due October 2nd.

Israel Nash and his band are excited to release the first single, “LA Lately,” on 2nd October. The track is taken off their new album Israel Nash’s Silver Season, due out on October 9th on Loose/Thirty Tigers. The track is the second offering from the upcoming album after the recent release of ‘Strangers’ both tracks are superb and have really wetted the appetite for the album. Andrew Combs & Barna Howard release limited split 7" single

September 2015 sees Andrew Combs returning to the UK, supported by his label-mate Barna Howard. To celebrate their joint tour, Andrew and Barna have released a special limited edition split 7” single on a white coloured vinyl and it looks very cool indeed. Jon Hart featuring Chris Woods Groove - Red Room single / video

‘Red Room’ is the latest single / video release from acclaimed singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist Jon Hart on the Candyrat Records label and features a guest appearance from long-time collaborator and producer, percussive guitarist Chris Woods. The track is taken from his debut album ‘Reborn’ which received widespread acclaim earlier this year and earned him performances at the Isle of Wight Festival and the Acoustic Festival of Britain. Hart will be touring to promote the album this autumn and on October 4th he will support Preston Reed at the 2015 Ullapool Guitar Festival.

Glen Hansard to release new album in September

Didn’t He Ramble, the second solo outing from acclaimed singer songwriter Glen Hansard, will be released September 18 via Anti- Records. The new album is his first in over three years and follows 2012’s solo debut Rhythm & Repose. Produced by Thomas Bartlett (The National, Sufjan Stevens) and former Frames band-mate David Odlum (Paloma Faith, Tinariwen). The album, which was recorded in New York, Dublin, Chicago and France, is Hansard’s most intimate and elegant record since his work in Once and features guest appearances by John Sheahan (Dubliners), Sam Beam (Iron and Wine) and Sam Amidon.

The Taste Of Mark Morriss

Mark Morriss is best known as the frontman for The Bluetones who had 13 UK top 40 singles in the days when you had to sell plenty of records to have a UK hit. The Bluetones recently reformed and are touring the UK in September but in the meantime Mark is about to release his second studio solo album entitled  “The Taste of Mark Morriss”, this record is a 12-track intimate insight into the creative-mind of one of the UK’s finest song-writers. Mark has selected his favourite “blast from the past” songs that helped to form his musical tastes and shape his songwriting skills, picking the tunes apart and re-invented them with his own flair.
