Ruston Kelly announces UK 'Dying Star' tour dates for November 2018

Ruston Kelly will release his debut album 'Dying Star' on September 7th via Rounder Records and to coincide the singer-songwriter has a show booked for London's Slaughtered Lamb on September 17th. This is obviously good news, but the very good news is Kelly will return to the UK in November for a run of shows with Cardiff, Ramsgate, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Islington Assembly Hall in London amongst the dates on a wide-ranging tour. The Sheepdogs bring 'Changing Colours' to the UK Oct/Nov 2018

Canadian act The Sheepdogs will be visiting the UK in late October for a run of dates before that hit the European mainland. The rescheduled dates are in support of their recent ‘Changing Colours’ release and include London’s Borderline on November 5th. The quadruple Juno Award winning act have been compared to The Band, The Allman Brothers Band and The Flying Burrito Brothers, which gives you a good idea of where they’re at musically and ‘Changing Colours’ lives up to those comparisons. ZZ Top formed back in 1969 and to mark the event the Texas blues legends have announced a run of European dates for 2019 to mark their 50th anniversary as a band. French synthwave icon Carpenter Brut will be returning to the UK in October with his 'Leather Patrol' tour. Legendary UK prog-rock band Camel will perform a run of UK shows in September 2018. Camel formed in 1971 and are still led by founding member Andrew Latimer (guitar/flute/vocals). The upcoming tour dates will be of special interest to fans of the band and prog fans in general as Camel will perform 'Moonmadness' in full. The 'Moonmadness' album was originally released in 1976 and broke into the top 20 of the UK album chart. Over the years the album has received many accolades including a position in the top 100 prog albums of all time by the readers of Prog Magazine. Joshua Hedley will return to the UK for a run of shows in September including an appearance at the Long Road festival alongside Lee Ann Womack, The Shires, Aaron Watson etc. Hedley's recent album 'Mr Jukebox', released on Jack White's Third Man Records, is classic country influenced by such greats as George Jones, Glen Campbell and Faron Young. The annual Stone Free Festival is returning to the O2 in London for a third year. The first announcement of acts for the 2018 festival features a cool mix of prog, blues and hard rock acts including many 2018 UK exclusive performances. On June 16th German rockers Scorpions will perform with thrash act Megadeth as special guests. June 17th finds YES featuring  Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman closing the festival with support from ex Supertramp mainman Roger Hodgson and blues guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor.
